Multitasking is part of every job, made more prominent now because of the explosive growth of technology in the workplace and in our personal lives. It's both easier and harder to get things done with the technical advances in personal and organizational communication and management. Studies show both positive and negative outcomes for multitaskers, but for most of us the basic challenge is the same as always: How do I master a workload that includes multiple projects, priorities and demands – whatever technology I use? Additionally, many now are being asked to handle additional work in a tight economy. Yet, as you look around your workplace, you may see some people who deftly field new challenges while they calmly continue to turn out quality results on time, develop fresh ideas . . . and enjoy their work. How do they do it?
This workshop will show you how. The workplace-tested methods show you the way to personal productivity, efficient situation analysis, balance among multiple responsibilities and effective workload sharing. The tools and practices you need are relatively simple and straightforward, and they can make all the difference in reducing stress and getting things done.
